Sometimes all you want is a quick and simple family portrait. Something that’s not fussy and doesn’t require too much prep. Queue my minimalist studio portraits! Cyntia brought in her three boys for a quick portrait refresh and we had such a great time! The boys were full of energy and love for their mom, and were happy to ham it up for the camera.

Honestly, it was so wonderful seeing how much these boys loved their mama. They were so comfortable showing their affection and it made for such an easy session. Usually it takes me a bit to get kids to warm up but these three showed up ready to go! It was actually kind of hilarious how natural and at ease they were, it really did make my job easy.

I know in-home sessions aren’t for everyone, and not everyone wants to do outdoors sessions either. These studio sessions are a great way to have photographs made of you and your family without worrying about tidying up, or about mosquitos. The sessions are 30 minutes long and just focus on you and your family’s connection with each other. Because there aren’t any props or elaborate backgrounds, you become the center of attention in the best way. All you see is love, joy, and your beautiful face.
