1. How to identify the parts of a camera and what they're used for
2. What the exposure triangle is and how to use it to make photos
3. What camera settings to use in different situations
4. Color Theory and Composition, and how to use them when making a photograph

The best part of Kid Photo School is your kid will have access forever!
If they're anything like my kid, their interests are fickle. Because you'll have access forever, they can log back in for a refresher at any time!

In order to get the most out of this class, your kid should have access to a camera that has manual mode. The goal of this class is the give them the tools to shoot in manual mode so having access to it is kind of necessary.
In this class I teach using a Canon Rebel T7 which is a great basic camera that is under $500, but any camera that shoots in manual will work. Check FB Marketplace or even your local Buy Nothing group and see if anyone is willing to part with a camera. It doesn't have to be fancy!

As mentioned above, your kid will need access to a camera that has manual mode to get the most out of this class. Other than that, there is a bonus lesson on how to make your own camera obscura in which you'll need a large box, tape, and something to poke a hole with.
For forever! Your one-time payment gives you access to the class for as long as you need it. I know kids go in and out of interests and I wanted to give unlimited access so they can come back and refresh their memories when they need it.
Although the class is geared towards kids, all the information included can be used to teach anyone how to use manual mode on their cameras. If you have any questions, feel free to email me!
The age range for this class is 8-12, though younger kids may need a little extra assistance. Anyone younger can still learn but will most likely need an adult to help them go through the material and put it into action.
