Soooo I was scheduling blog posts and realized I had never blogged this mini session from last fall which is a shame because this family was super nice! They had recently moved to Palo Alto from the midwest and were wanting to get family photos done for their holiday cards. We originally were going to meet at Elizabeth Gamble Gardens but the entire place was shut down for an event so we made a quick change of plans and ended up outside the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo.

The kiddos tried their hand at balancing along a log, ran through the leaves, and made it rain (leaves) with a little help from Mom. We got the obligatory Holiday Card Shot as I like to call it, but also got some great candids of them just being a family.

I really love that photography brings me in touch with people I may not meet otherwise. I had such a good time with this group and I know they did as well. As a fairly new Bay Area transplant myself it’s always nice to connect with people who know what it’s like to move to a completely different place. I look forward to meeting up with them again and photographing those sweet kiddos!
