A few weeks ago I received a text from my friend Lauren the Doula who said she had a client who had given birth 5 weeks early and wanted a Fresh48 session. The next day I heard from the father and we made plans for me to come by. Y’all. This baby was so precious. And really, I don’t say that word too much. Winnie was 5 pounds of sweetness and really, just cute as a button. Since she was a preemie she did not want to be unwrapped, unswaddled, or even put down and her parents were happy to oblige.

Fresh48 sessions are the perfect way to capture those first few hours in your little one’s life that go by all too quickly. I honestly don’t remember much about the first days of my daughter’s life except that she cried a lot (compared to when I didn’t have a baby and never heard crying, ha!), and I was so tired. I really wish I would have had someone document that time when we were getting to know our daughter. But, hindsight is 20/20, amiright?
