I had the pleasure of hanging out with Alexis and her two littles in Alameda a few weeks ago. I seriously love meeting new families and when she suggested we meet at the beach I was even more excited (if that’s even possible). We spent a little time getting to know each other a bit better while the kids played in the sand and dipped toes in the water.

This was the first time I have visited Alameda since we’ve moved her and it is SO CUTE! I can’t wait to go back and explore a bit more. So many cute houses, the beach was really nice (and much closer than driving to Santa Cruz or Half Moon Bay). Alexis told me her mother grew up in Alameda and how it’s changed quite a bit since then but has still maintained a lot of its charm. It’s definitely a great place to check out if you haven’t been!
