Have I told you all how much I love Dallas? I know it’s like, not cool to have a favorite, but Dallas might be my favorite city. Every time we go back, I drive by my old house in East Dallas (and may or may not shed a tear), head to Northpark Mall, and visit all our friends like Christina and her triplets. Christina is a super talented photographer herself and we connected years ago when we both had one year olds and were members of Etsy Dallas.

It’s been so fun seeing all our kiddos grow up and I was so excited to do a session with this sweet family! We started out at home in Oak Cliff before heading out to one of their favorite haunts, the Wild Detectives. After a mid-morning snack and some coffee we piled into the minivan and drove to the Dallas Farmer’s Market to check out the plants at Ruibal’s.

I really really love doing weekend morning sessions. Families tend to be more relaxed and go with the flow, and we leave plenty of time so no one feels rushed, and do things that the whole family enjoys.
