When I met Anneke and Keith, they were so lovely and warm. They were in that delicious newborn stage where you’re trying to get used to less sleep, and keeping your newborn fed and clothed and happy. But despite being a bit sleep deprived, they were both full of joy and love and just smitten with little Amalie.

I’ve mentioned before that newborn lifestyle sessions are wonderful because you can do them at any time, so if you miss the first 10 day window that posed newborn photography requires, it’s not a big deal. There is something special about Fresh 48 sessions and newborn sessions done very early, but there is also something to be said about an older newborn session where you can start to see baby’s personality shining through. In this case, baby Amalie thought her dad was the most hilarious person she’d ever met and I pretty much died from the cuteness!
