Last month, I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin’s wedding in Evanston, Illinois. I’ve mentioned before that I had sworn off weddings for a long while, but after photographing Amy & Ryan’s intimate wedding in Oakland earlier this year, I couldn’t wait to document another small wedding. Though this one wasn’t quite as tiny, it was almost all family or long-time family friends so it felt really intimate.

It was a really lovely experience being able to photograph such a momentous day for people I love. I hope to do more small weddings and elopements in the future. Getting to know people and photograph such intimate moments in their lives is such an honor and privilege.
