About a month ago I got the call that my friend and fellow photographer Mary of Mary Bea Photography had given birth to her first, a sweet baby boy. I was so thrilled for her and loved photographing those first few hours as she and her husband got to know their son. I’ve written before about how much I love doing Fresh 48 newborn sessions and this one was no exception.

This little buddy was super chill (and I’m happy to report I saw him last week and he’s still super chill), and it was an honor to photograph him. I can’t wait to watch him grow up and see his little personality shine through! I wish Mary and her husband the best as they bring their boy up and I look forward to many beautiful photos of him by Mary once she’s up to it! I know motherhood can hit you like a ton of bricks, speaking from experience, ha!
