You know when you meet people and they immediately make you feel warm and comfortable? The Desario’s are those people! When they asked me to take a few family pictures before their newest addition made his debut, I was so excited! I mean, I’m always excited, but I was really excited to meet their son Nicky and more specifically his head of curls. Can you blame me? They’re kind of glorious!

The Desario’s call Alameda Island home and wanted to do a shoot near the water. I met them at their lovely home and we took off for the beach! It was chilly, and windy, and cloudy, but this family was nothing but high spirits and laughs! We seriously had the best time freezing our buns off and running around, and watching those curls bounce in the wind!

I love the way these turned out and can’t wait to introduce you to Baby August!
