It had been a while since I’d taken real portraits of Margaux. Like, actually had her sit down and let me take her picture. This is mostly because we can’t really do it at home (it’s so dang dark in our new apartment) and part of it is that I wasn’t quite familiar with the area. When I spotted the lovely little patio at Devout Coffee I decided to make a date with Margaux, get some coffee (and hot chocolate) and take some pictures.

Margaux almost immediately dropped her cup and lost her cocoa, but instead of crying she just kind of said “oh well, I’ll share with the ants.” Because, hello, my kid is awesome. I mean, she definitely has her tantrum-y moments but I was pleasantly surprised by her attitude.

She was feeling kind of wiggly, and we didn’t end up staying very long but it’s kind of amazing how much older she looks in these pictures. She’s not a baby, not a toddler, she’s a full-on kid. Crazy. CRAZY. Love her so much!
