A few months ago my friend Amy announced she was saying goodbye to San Francisco and moving clear across the country to New York. She and her family wanted to get some photos done to remember their time here and wanted some photos with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in the background (because what’s more San Francisco than that?). We decided to head to Baker Beach which was thankfully open again and spent the afternoon in the sand and dipping our toes in the ocean.

I know quite a few families who decided they are saying goodbye to San Francisco and while it’s a sad thing to leave the city, I wish them all the best on their newest adventure.
